Star Sailors' official channel (@starsailors.official) has published a dedicated "Star Sailors | Heidi Character Trailer," and the official App Store event page "New Partner Heidi is here!" is the second of the two first-party placements mentioned above, sharing the same key art. Her trailer's own title card names her shadow-elf royalty, not just a shadow elf (full spelling on that title card discussed below).

She never appeared on Star Sailors' official Allies Overview page, which lists only four Partners by name and tagline (Nina Stingblade, Princess Jen, Quarter Rest Dora, Mui). Her own dedicated trailer and event page turned out to be a stronger form of first-party confirmation than a roster listing would have been.

A separate official screenshot places her in an actual in-game story-dialogue scene rather than pure marketing key art — its own small confirmation she appears in the game itself. That screenshot's on-screen credit line, "Handcrafted Artwork by Team Coax," feeds an open question about Star Sailors' art-direction credit, covered fully on our trailer breakdown page.

"Underborn" or "Underbone"? A Name Discrepancy, Explained

Launch-era press coverage of Star Sailors' closed beta and launch trial event (Pocket Gamer, Gamehaunt) spelled her name "Heidi Underbone" — the only spelling available at the time, and the one this wiki originally used too.

Two independent first-party sources have since surfaced, and both spell it differently: the title card of Heidi's own official character trailer reads "HEIDI UNDERBORN — The princess of the Shadow Elves," and the official App Store event page announcing her uses the same spelling. Two matching first-party placements outweigh a single press spelling, so this wiki now treats "Heidi Underborn" as the canonical name and "Underbone" as a documented press variant rather than the primary spelling.

Combat Role: A "Shadow Elf in Pact with the Incarnation of Fire"

The official App Store event page describes her with a more precise line than anything found before: "Shadow Elf in Pact with the Incarnation of Fire: Heidi rate up! Also check out the SSR Memory Piece 'Heidi's World.'" Treat the framing itself — a shadow elf, a pact, a fire "Incarnation" — as real and officially stated.

What that pact actually does in a fight is still not published anywhere. No official source lists her specific skills, base stats, rarity tier, class assignment, or a standard (non-event) recruitment method — including whether she's among the roughly ten free-to-recruit Partners or one that typically needs premium currency ("Prism") to obtain reliably. Older press previews (Pocket Gamer, Gamehaunt) separately described her as fitting speed- and debuff-oriented teams from hands-on play; that detail remains press-sourced only, not confirmed by anything official.

The SSR Memory Piece "Heidi's World"

That same App Store event page name-drops something not seen anywhere else in Star Sailors' official materials: an SSR Memory Piece called "Heidi's World." It's presented alongside her rate-up banner as something worth checking out, which tells us it's a real, named item tied specifically to her.

Beyond that, we genuinely don't know what a "Memory Piece" is or does mechanically — a bond/affinity item, a lore collectible, a stat-boosting piece of gear, or something else entirely. No official source explains the term, and it isn't covered in our Game Systems guide because nothing about it has been documented beyond this one mention. We'll expand this once Star Sailors actually explains it.
